Create a GDPR privacy policy for your website

The GDPR comes into effect on May 25th and affects all types of businesses that trade within the UK and the EU. Some B2B type companies are exempt but not all. I have created a template that I can customise for any website. What You Must Do
Under GDPR, you are obligated to comply with customers' wishes regarding their data. In particular, you must use their contact information only for the purposes to which they consent.
If a customer does not consent to marketing communications, you must use their contact information solely to service and support the product that they have already purchased.
If a customer consents to marketing communications, you may send them marketing communications through their contact information.
If a customer unsubscribes from your marketing communications, you must comply with the request promptly.
Additional for B2B
GDPR does not affect the day to day communications concerned with B2B trading, therefore companies who trade only with other companies are exempt from the GDPR. However, if any email communication contains or references the name of an individual, example: [email protected] then GDPR is a case for concern and therefore should be addressed accordingly.
I will create the GDPR policy for you and deliver as a MS Word document or PDF. If you need assistance with adding the policy to your website I can help with that too. I can also create other policies such as cookie policy and T&Cs.
