How many times have you signed a contract, lease for equipment, T&C's without looking at them? We all do it and yet any of those documents could end up costing you a fortune.

I know of one leasing company that insists on having a Company Director sign its agreements. The leasing agreement contains a clause which says that the leasing company can take a mortgage over the director's home if the payments aren't met. The Director can't complain after the event - he signed the contract!

SO the dangers are there and I can help.

I will review and give a written report on any contract, agreement, lease agreement, hire/hire purchase agreement. The document must be less than 2,000 words long (about 5 A4 typed pages and I don't count the words) and must be intended to be enforced in England and Wales.

I'll report back in writing, telling you in simple terms what each clause means and if I think that there are any basic problems with the document. If you need to, we can also have a short telephone conversation to follow up on what I've said.
