About me
It's this simple - I'm the real deal. For more than 20 years I've been writing professionally, headhunted early in my career to join a leading London ad agency with household name clients before going freelance. In that time, I've written everything from conference speeches to corporate videos, brochures to blogs, websites to straplines. Along the way I was involved with a start-up accelerator, supporting entrepreneurs to develop their concepts and communication and finessing their pitching skills. Adrianinspires.com will tell you more.
I also write scripts, and have received commissions for tv with the BBC, film projects with production companies, theatre work including a play that attracted a larger audience than the main stage production at Nottingham Playhouse who'd commissioned it, and a comic I ghost-scripted that received international media attention. My award-winning short film White Lily has close to two million views on YouTube, and can also be seen on Amazon Prime. And I'm a published poet and prose writer, with one of my short stories commended by the renowned Bridport Prize.
All of this equips me well to support a range of projects. It explains why the UK Film Council trained me to deliver scriptwriting workshops, which had led me to do script and story development work with filmmakers and production companies. I've also devised and delivered workshops to do with creativity and communication, eg using Mary Shelley's Frankenstein to explore storywriting and mental health with a group of BAME young adults, and writing short plays for use in training contexts.
